Growing up on the islands of Twillingate, has fostered my desire to photograph icebergs and cultures within North Atlantic’s Iceberg Alley. Twillingate is literally a front row seat to Iceberg Alley.
The Outports of Newfoundland & Labrador are small ocean communities sprinkled along the coastline of Newfoundland & Labrador. These fishing towns fall within iceberg alley and have seen their way of life almost disappear.
As a community advocate, I follow the charter of Geotourism. Truly sustainable tourism embeds enhancement with preservation, this protects the local person’s presence as well as the environment.
